About

Australian grants, with the deadline attached

Grant money is public. The calendar is not. GrantWindow puts every program we track in one place with its closing date on the front, so you find a grant while you can still apply for it.

Published in Sydney, Australia · 14 official sources · Last checked 27 Aug 2026

Australian grants are spread across dozens of government portals, each with its own search, its own wording and its own way of burying the date that matters. Finding a program you are eligible for means checking all of them. Knowing it closes on Friday means checking all of them again.

This site does that checking. One catalogue, one page per program, the closing date on the front and a link straight to the funder.

What you get

  • Every jurisdictionCommonwealth programs, all 10 state and territory jurisdictions, local councils and university funding, in one catalogue.
  • The closing date on the front1,691 of 4,141 programs carry a closing date their funder has published, with a live countdown on every one.
  • Who can applyThe funder’s own eligibility wording, plus the business size, turnover and trading history tests where they publish them.
  • What it paysThe funding range as the funder states it, so you can tell in a glance whether a program is worth the application.
  • Browse by purpose27 categories, from small business and community projects to arts, sport, training, capital works, disaster recovery, environment, health, regional and research.
  • A link straight to the funderEvery entry links to the official page, names the source and licence, and shows the date we last read it.

How current it is

Every night after Australian business hours the official sources are read again: GrantConnect and business.gov.au for Commonwealth grants, every state and territory grant portal, and the published grant pages of individual councils and universities. New programs appear, moved deadlines are corrected, and reopened rounds come back onto the board. The catalogue was last checked 27 Aug 2026.

Where the same program appears on more than one portal it gets one page here, not three, and that page carries the date the entry was last verified.

What a free account includes

Every grant has a page anybody can read: what it funds, who runs it, the jurisdiction, the funding range and the month it closes. A free account adds the exact closing date, a live countdown, the funder's full eligibility wording, the whole catalogue to browse and search, the closing-soon board in full, and one grant watched with a reminder before it closes. It costs an email address, never a card, and it does not expire.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Never an invented dateIf a funder has not published a closing date, the page says so and links to where it will appear. You never plan a week of work around a guess.
  • Every entry names its sourceThe exact government page the facts came from, the licence it is published under, and the date we last read it.
  • No cut of your grantNo fee, no commission, no percentage and no paid placement. You apply through the funder on the funder’s own site and we make nothing from it.
  • Official sources onlyGovernment portals and funder pages, read directly. Nothing bought and nothing second hand.
  • Free to readEvery program has a page anybody can open. A free account adds the exact date, and it costs an email address rather than a card.

What GrantWindow is not

We are not a grant writer, a consultant or an agent. We do not lodge applications, review drafts or assess your chances, and nothing here is legal, financial or eligibility advice. The funder's guidelines decide eligibility and the funder's page is always the authority on a program, which is why every entry links straight to it and says so.

Worth saying plainly, because this sector attracts it: no Australian government grant requires you to pay somebody an upfront fee to secure it. Anyone who tells you otherwise is worth a very careful look.

Who publishes this

GrantWindow is published by MomentumLab AI Pty Ltd, a small Australian software studio that builds and runs its own products. There is no outside investor and no client work behind these pages, and no funder pays for placement on any of them.

Corrections

If an entry here is wrong, out of date or attributed incorrectly we would rather hear it than leave it up, and that goes double if you run a program listed here. Write to admin@momentumlab.ai and it gets handled the same day.

Know the date before it costs you the application
