Grant windows close quietly. Nothing tells you the program you were going to apply for on Monday shuts on Friday. That is the email we send: 30, 14 and 7 days out, and again the moment a funder moves a date.
Five emails, and nothing else
Every Commonwealth, state, territory and council program in the catalogue is checked overnight. When something changes on one you are watching, you hear about it:
- Closing soon. A grant you are watching has crossed the 30, 14 or 7 day line. Three emails, spaced so the first one is early enough to gather quotes and letters and the last one is late enough to matter.
- The deadline moved. A funder has changed a closing date. An extension buys you time. A date brought forward costs applications, and you hear about it the night it happens.
- It reopened. A closed program you were watching is taking applications again. Most Australian grant programs run in rounds, so this is the alert that turns a closed page into an opportunity.
- Something new appeared. A program has been published in a state or a purpose you follow, within a day of it appearing on the source.
- It was withdrawn. A program has come off its source. Worth knowing before you finish an application for it.
What it is not
It is not an eligibility matcher. It does not score your chances, write your application or tell you which grants you are likely to win.
