When you’re caring for others, it’s important to take care of yourself as well. For thousands of Victorians, caring is a 24/7 job. Unpaid carers play a vital role in Victoria. Not only do they improve the lives of those they care for, but they also benefit the wider community. The Additional Respite for Carers Program 2025-2027 provides funding from $30,000 up to $1 million (per year) over two years for organisations to deliver respite for unpaid carers.
