What the program funds

The Carbon Capture Technologies Program provides organisations with up to $15 million to reduce Australia’s emissions. The Australian Government is committed to ambitious climate action and has enshrined into law an emission reduction target of 43 per cent below 2005 levels by 2030, and net zero emissions by 2050. The Government is supporting the net zero transformation by reducing emissions and investing in the opportunities presented by a low-carbon economy. The Government recognises it will take a wide range of technologies and tools to achieve this goal.
