What Community Housing Energy Performance Grant funds
The grant is open to registered, approved, and compliant CHPs in NSW under the NRSCH tiers 1, 2, and 3. It supports energy performance upgrades in social housing properties to improve liveability and help tenants reduce energy bills. The program has the following objectives: Improve the thermal comfort of tenants in social housing properties by installing reverse cycle air conditioning systems, ceiling fans, ceiling insulation and supporting home improvements such as draught proofing and window shading.
