What the program funds
This Aboriginal Affairs NSW grant program provides funding to assist with the repair, reconstruction and minor resilience building measures for Aboriginal community infrastructure. The record-breaking flooding that occurred in parts of NSW in February-March 2022 had a significant impact on communities. Funding of $150 million was approved for a 2022 Community Local Infrastructure Recovery Package (CLIRP - the Package) jointly funded by the Commonwealth and NSW governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).

This program is categorised under the following purposes. Each one that has a page of its own links to every other Australian grant we track for the same purpose.
How to apply
Applications for Community Local Infrastructure Recovery Package (CLIRP) - Stream 1 are made through Aboriginal Affairs, not through GrantWindow. We do not take applications, charge a fee or act as an intermediary, and any site that offers to apply on your behalf for a government grant is worth a very careful look.
Applications close in November 2022. Government grant portals are busiest on the final day and several of them close on the stroke of the deadline, so the practical advice is to submit a day early.
This round is closed. Many Australian grant programs run again, and a closed program is the reason the alert list exists: we watch this page nightly and tell the list the day it reopens.
