What the program funds

Victorian Law Foundation support to address community legal need or improve understanding of the justice system. Improving community legal information and education Everyday Legal Grants provide up to $10,000 for civil legal projects that help Victorian's access legal help and navigate the justice system. Funding is available for civil legal information and education projects that: address a civil legal issue for a specific community develop new approaches to community legal education deliver legal information or help to navigate the Victorian justice system.

Applications for Everyday Legal Grant are made through Department of Justice and Community Safety, not through GrantWindow. We do not take applications, charge a fee or act as an intermediary, and any site that offers to apply on your behalf for a government grant is worth a very careful look.

Applications close in January 2050. Government grant portals are busiest on the final day and several of them close on the stroke of the deadline, so the practical advice is to submit a day early.
