What the program funds
The NSW Government has announced the Forestry Industry Supply Chain Support Program, to support businesses impacted by the moratorium on timber harvesting within the proposed boundary of the Great Koala National Park. The objectives of the Program are to provide financial support to impacted businesses that have had the majority of their hardwood or by-product supply cut from sawmills that have had a reduction in their wood supply as a consequence of the moratorium on harvesting in the Great Koala National Park.
