What the program funds
Grants of $25,000 and $10,000 for eligible small businesses impacted by the closure of the Great Western Highway at Victoria Pass from March 2026. The program aims to provide targeted financial support to eligible small businesses that have experienced a loss of turnover as a result of the Great Western Highway closure. To help sustain operations and mitigate impacts, grants of up to $25,000 are available to eligible small businesses in Hartley, Hartley Vale, Little Hartley and Mount Victoria.

How to apply
Applications for Great Western Highway Closure Small Business Support Grant are made through Rural Assistance Authority, not through GrantWindow. We do not take applications, charge a fee or act as an intermediary, and any site that offers to apply on your behalf for a government grant is worth a very careful look.
Applications close in January 2027. Government grant portals are busiest on the final day and several of them close on the stroke of the deadline, so the practical advice is to submit a day early.
