What the program funds

This grant complements the Newcastle city-centre revitalisation program by helping mitigate risk associated with mine subsidence. In 2015 the NSW Government set up the Newcastle Mines Grouting Fund (the Fund) to address the issue of mine subsidence and its impact on property development in the Newcastle CBD. The NSW Government is funding this initiative, and Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation (HCCDC) is administering the Fund.

How to apply

Applications for Newcastle Mines Grouting Fund are made through Department of Planning and Environment, not through GrantWindow. We do not take applications, charge a fee or act as an intermediary, and any site that offers to apply on your behalf for a government grant is worth a very careful look.

Applications close in September 2023. Government grant portals are busiest on the final day and several of them close on the stroke of the deadline, so the practical advice is to submit a day early.

This round is closed. Many Australian grant programs run again, and a closed program is the reason the alert list exists: we watch this page nightly and tell the list the day it reopens.
