What the program funds

This program provides competitive grants to small and medium-sized enterprises to develop and commercialise innovative solutions to well-defined problems for NSW Government agencies. The SBIR program supports innovative technologies or services that both solve NSW Government challenges, and which could be commercialised and sold to other end-users.

How to apply

Applications for NSW SBIR Program are made through Investment NSW,Office of the Chief Scientist and Engineer, not through GrantWindow. We do not take applications, charge a fee or act as an intermediary, and any site that offers to apply on your behalf for a government grant is worth a very careful look.

Applications close in March 2023. Government grant portals are busiest on the final day and several of them close on the stroke of the deadline, so the practical advice is to submit a day early.
