What the program funds
Funding is available for properties in the Western Local Land Services to install fish diversion screen technology on pump intakes, to improve native fish populations and improve water efficiency to river water diverters. The Screening Our Streams project aims to help reduce impacts on native fish populations and improve the health of freshwater ecosystems by engaging with landholders to install fish-friendly diversion screen technology on their river pump intakes.

What it is for
This program is categorised under the following purposes. Each one that has a page of its own links to every other Australian grant we track for the same purpose.
How to apply
Applications for Screening Our Streams are made through Local Land Services, not through GrantWindow. We do not take applications, charge a fee or act as an intermediary, and any site that offers to apply on your behalf for a government grant is worth a very careful look.
Applications close in November 2023. Government grant portals are busiest on the final day and several of them close on the stroke of the deadline, so the practical advice is to submit a day early.
This round is closed. Many Australian grant programs run again, and a closed program is the reason the alert list exists: we watch this page nightly and tell the list the day it reopens.
