What the program funds
The VCGP funds a range of projects that support veteran wellbeing and commemorate and educate NSW communities about the service and sacrifice of current and former military servicemen and servicewomen. The purpose of the Veteran Community Grants Program (VCGP) is to support activities and services to enhance the wellbeing of the NSW veteran community and promote appreciation and understanding of the service and sacrifice of military service personnel. The VCGP is targeted at individuals and not-for-profit organisations who are based in NSW.

How to apply
Applications for Veteran Community Grants Program - 2026 Round are made through Office for Veterans Affairs, not through GrantWindow. We do not take applications, charge a fee or act as an intermediary, and any site that offers to apply on your behalf for a government grant is worth a very careful look.
Apply for Veteran Community Grants Program - 2026 Round on the official site
Applications close in November 2026. Government grant portals are busiest on the final day and several of them close on the stroke of the deadline, so the practical advice is to submit a day early.
