What the program funds
This program provides VIC freight operators with the opportunity to trial electric heavy vehicles in real-world operations at no cost. The Victorian Electric Heavy Vehicle Trial (VEHVT) is a practical, industry-led initiative supporting the transition to zero-emission freight in Victoria. Delivered by the Victorian Transport Association (VTA) in partnership with government and industry, the trial provides selected freight operators with the opportunity to trial electric heavy vehicles (EHVs) in real-world operations at no cost.
