Waste Levy and Data Readiness Grant Program

This round of Waste Levy and Data Readiness Grant Program closed in December 2025. GrantWindow keeps the record because most Australian grant programs run again, and the alert list is told the night Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania opens the next one.

Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania publishes a funding amount of Up to $50k, noted as: Funding of up to $50,000 (GST exclusive) has now been awarded to assist facilities with the costs of modifying systems, processes and infrastructure to support: the effective collection and management of waste data compliance with reporting obligations under the Waste and Resource Recovery Act 2022. Confirm it in the guidelines on the official page before you build a budget around it.

Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania lists this program as open to companies, indigenous organisations and local government. That is a starting filter rather than the full eligibility test: the criteria in the funder's guidelines are what decide an application.

This round is closed. Closed rounds stay on record because most Australian grant programs run again, and the reopening is the one worth being early for. The alert list is told the night it does.

Waste Levy and Data Readiness Grant Program is offered by Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania in Tasmania. Applications are made through the funder, never through GrantWindow: we take no applications, charge no fee and act as no intermediary. Any site offering to apply on your behalf for a government grant is worth a very careful look.
