The NSW Government undertook to fund a total of $13.55M for water supply improvements to YVC for the Yass Water Supply Scheme for two components: 1 Yass water Treatment Plant (WTP) upgrade ($11.85M) and 2 Yass water reticulation upgrade ($1.7M) The funding is for the Yass Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Upgrade and associated reticulation improvement projects. This aims to improve the water system to maintain high quality water for the Yass Community. This program is a NSW election commitment and is funded and administered by NSW DCCEEW.
