What the program funds

Funding is available to Community Preschools for specialised equipment/furniture or minor environmental modifications to enable children with disability and additional needs to participate in the educational program on the same basis as their peers. Inclusive Environments (IE) is a component of Disability and Inclusion Program for NSW Community Preschools Inclusion Readiness funding promotes access and improves the learning, development and wellbeing of children with disability and additional needs in community preschools.

Applications for 2025 Inclusive Environments Funding Program - Inclusion Readiness Payments are made through Department of Education, not through GrantWindow. Applications close in May 2025. Government grant portals are busiest on the final day and several of them close on the stroke of the deadline, so the practical advice is to submit a day early.
