What the program funds

This grant program will support the implementation of the Active Schools program in Victorian government schools. The Active Schools initiative is a flagship initiative of the Joint Ministerial Statement on Physical Activity for Children and Young People (PDF, 8.52MB) and contributes to collective action across government to increase young Victorians’ levels of physical activity, reflecting the inclusion of active living as a priority under the 2023-27 Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Plan.
