What the program funds

The NSW Boating Infrastructure Emergency Repair Pool (BIERP) grants provide funding to local councils and organisations to repair, replace, or improve public boating infrastructure damaged by natural disasters or severe weather events. The $2 million Boating Infrastructure Emergency Repair Pool Grants Program (BIERP) seeks to accelerate the replacement or repair of boating facilities which have been impacted by natural disasters and severe weather events and return them to service.

How to apply

Applications for Boating Infrastructure Emergency Repair Pool are made through Transport for NSW, not through GrantWindow. We do not take applications, charge a fee or act as an intermediary, and any site that offers to apply on your behalf for a government grant is worth a very careful look.

Apply for Boating Infrastructure Emergency Repair Pool on the official site

Applications close in June 2028. Government grant portals are busiest on the final day and several of them close on the stroke of the deadline, so the practical advice is to submit a day early.
