What the program funds

The purpose of this grant opportunity is to provide funding to support organisations in the design and delivery of national viral hepatitis community-led initiatives and awareness raising campaigns that engage priority populations, including people at higher risk of acquiring viral hepatitis or with limited access to health care. These activities will help reduce stigma and encourage individuals to seek care and reduce hepatitis-related cancer mortality. This includes: • $6.9 million from 1 January 2027 to 30 June 2029 for National Hepatitis B projects.
