Provenance
Where this data comes from
Official and primary sources only. Every entry in the catalogue links back to the exact government page it was read from, carries the licence that page is published under and shows the date we last read it.
GrantWindow is built on public data that Australian governments publish themselves. Every source below is listed with its publisher, its licence, the attribution it requires and how many programs it contributes, and that attribution is repeated on every grant page the source contributed to.
No deadline is ever inferred. If a funder publishes no closing date the entry says so: 1,691 of 4,141 programs carry a date the funder actually published.

Crown copyright and the states without an open licence
Not every Australian jurisdiction publishes its grant information under an open licence. New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia use Creative Commons Attribution, and those attributions are listed above. Western Australia publishes no open licence for this material and marks it Crown copyright, so entries from that source carry a Crown copyright note rather than a licence claim, and we describe them as what they are: publicly published program information, linked to its original page, reproduced no further than fair reporting of a public program requires.
Tasmania and the Northern Territory publish licence statements we have not been able to verify directly, and they are treated the same conservative way until we can. If you publish grant information and want an entry corrected, removed or attributed differently, write to us and it will be handled the same day.
How current each entry is
Every source above is read again each night after Australian business hours, and each grant page carries the date that specific entry was last verified. Where the same program is published on more than one portal it appears here once, under the jurisdiction that runs it.
Always confirm on the funder's own page before you apply. Programs change without notice, and the funder's page is the only authority on a program. Every entry here links straight to it.
