What the program funds
This program provides TAS tourism businesses with funding to install EV destination chargers for visitors staying overnight. Funding is available to cover all costs to install new eligible destination chargers defined as a permanently-wired 240V AC electric vehicle charging station that provides between 7kW to 22kW rate of charge. Eligible expenses include: purchase of chargers installation of infrastructure to support chargers relevant signage and safety equipment.
