What the program funds
This grants program supports landholders in the West Hume area to protect waterways through changed land management practices including erosion prevention and early intervention. The objective of this grant is to support landholders to carry out on ground works to address erosion in the West Hume Landcare area. This will lead to improved waterway health and water quality by reducing the amount of sediment entering waterways. The grant will fund fencing and revegetation on private property to stabilise eroded sites and reduce further sedimentation in waterways.

What it is for
This program is categorised under the following purposes. Each one that has a page of its own links to every other Australian grant we track for the same purpose.
How to apply
Applications for Erosion intervention and waterway protection in the West Hume area are made through Local Land Services, not through GrantWindow. We do not take applications, charge a fee or act as an intermediary, and any site that offers to apply on your behalf for a government grant is worth a very careful look.
Applications close in April 2023. Government grant portals are busiest on the final day and several of them close on the stroke of the deadline, so the practical advice is to submit a day early.
This round is closed. Many Australian grant programs run again, and a closed program is the reason the alert list exists: we watch this page nightly and tell the list the day it reopens.
