What the program funds
Funding of up to $350,000 for councils to temporarily close streets to vehicles and host community events and activations across three years. The Program is part of the Vibrant Streets Package, helping to support more vibrant local places. The Open Streets Program is a $15 million grant program that will provide successful councils with funding of up to $350,000 to host community events and activations across three years to support enduring vibrancy in our streets and centres.
