What the program funds
The Wheelchair Accessible Grant provides funding to Queensland taxi licence holders or lessee's to acquire a new wheelchair accessible taxi. Grants are available to holders or lessees of a taxi services licences to assist with the following costs: purchase of a new wheelchair accessible taxi purchase and installation of eligible modifications, including the reconfiguration of seating for that vehicle.
